Arlene Julian Harris, affectionately known as AJ, embarked on a culinary journey to create a haven for sweet lovers. With a lifetime of baking experience, she has dedicated herself to crafting delectable treats using only the finest ingredients. AJ’s Sweet Boutique prides itself on its commitment to quality, using high-quality chocolates, flours, organic fruits, and never resorting to high fructose corn syrup.

Beyond quality, AJ is passionate about sustainability. She actively avoids using single-use or hard-to-recycle plastics like polystyrene takeout containers, cling wrap, and plastic containers. AJ’s dedication to being health-conscious and environmentally responsible is unwavering.

AJ, the founder and chief baking creator, hails from Makiki, Hawaii. She attended McKinley High School (Class of 1993) and Kapiolani Community College. AJ is married to Mark Harris, (Mid Pacific Class of 1992). Together, they are the proud parents of four children: Taylor, Christopher, Samantha, and Matthew.
